PSTN Dial Up

back to previous section

The Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) forms the basic foundation of every analogue telephone service, and can expand to meet changing business needs.

A dial up solution is the most commonly used access method, particularly for the small business user. It uses a modem and normal phone line.

It ensures that calls are handled effectively, and services such as Call Waiting and Call Diversion make sure that no important business calls are missed.

Other services and options include: Select Services (for businesses without a multi-line switchboard), Caller Display, Three Way Call Return, Ring Back and Charge Advice.

Users also benefit from different billing options and inclusion in Yellow Pages/Business Pages.
